What we've been up to lately! NEWS December 2007:
Our Cleo - Lochend Love Letter - finished in style! 
After a couple All Breed shows (where she was BOB at two, one over several specials!)  She was needing one little point - was at NC Triangle show and Tom Coen awarded her Reserve WB.   I was very thrilled with that Reserve!   Then on to Alabama specialties where she was WB and BOW under Yvonne DeFreitas to finish!
Cleo is by Ch Kambria Baffin Bay and out of Ch Barwoods Endless Love.  Of the four show puppies from that litter three have finished - Ch Twin Acres Love on the Rocks, Ch Barwoods Love Song O Armitage, and my Cleo.  One more is now out being shown and already has picked up a major win!  Armitage True Love.  All this from one of our first sheltie litters.. where we leased a gorgeous girl from Barb Thompson, sent her out to finish her, then bred her to Baffin.   Barb, Ellen and I co bred the litter, and am so glad we did!  Cleo was specialed for a bit with Julie until she comes home to be bred on her next season.  She has three specialty Best of Specialty Show wins, and also several all breed Best of Breed wins and group placements!  Cleo also has a half brother... Lochend Chances Are.  Conner is owned by Deanna Deem and has made several big splashes in the obedience ring!   He finished his CD in style this past weekend with a High in Trial award!  Very proud of that team's accomplishment as well.

Champion Twin Acres Love on the Rocks. Rocky was co owned with Twin Acres Collies of Illinois. He won the Am Bred class at the 2006 ASSA National this past year, and finished in style not long after with specialty win. Rocky is at stud to approved girls at Twin Acres. Contact them for information. He is OFA Excellent, Eyes Normal, vWD Clear, and Thyroid normal. Puppy prices are approximately 700. Show quality is quoted upon further discussion. Those looking for a bargain basement priced puppy probably won't be happy with one of our dogs. We conduct all available health tests, chose our breedings very carefully, and are very concerned about our reputation as ethical breeders. This breed is very important to us and it shows.
